Fundraising
Love for Life is indebted to the fundraising efforts of staff, volunteers and supporters.
What can you do?
Love for Life organises coffee mornings, bag packs, abseils and other occasional fundraising events to support the work of the organisation.
We are also extremely grateful to those who have taken it on themselves to organise an event to raise vital funds for our work. Below are just a few examples of what has been done and what is possible:
David and Jenny McElhinney from Waringstown have hosted a couple of dinner parties:
“Holding a Love for Life fundraiser dinner was great fun. It killed lots of birds with one stone in that we caught up with some long lost friends and treated them to a night filled with what was hopefully good grub and great craic. It raised some funds for a really worthy cause and informed others of Love for Life’s role in providing much needed support and advice for young people in the area of relationships.”
Ed Johnston from Gilford undertook the 7 Peaks Challenge in August, covering 18 miles as he climbed the 7 highest peaks of the Mourne Mountains:
“It was rewarding to complete this challenge and raise money for an excellent cause at the same time!”
If you would like to undertake your own challenge or organise an event to raise funds for Love for Life, please get in touch.
