Love for Life’s mission is to equip young people and their community with the knowledge, skills and values necessary to form and maintain healthy and respectful relationships and to make informed choices with regards to their sexual health and well-being.

AIMS:
Empowering Young People
To educate and support young people in their physical, emotional, physiological and spiritual development, with particular focus on their relationships, sexual health and well-being.
Equipping Communities
To resource local communities as they support and encourage their young people to be alcohol, drug and sex free.
Engaging with Society
To challenge cultural messages that devalue the individual, relationships and sex, and actively contribute to societal debate and the development of holistic policy.
OBJECTIVES:
To develop and deliver high quality Relationships and Sexuality Education programmes to children and young people in schools and youth settings across Northern Ireland.
To produce resources for young people that are primary prevention centred, informative, skills-based and value rich.
To develop and deliver programmes to parents and carers in church and other community settings, addressing in particular teenage risk taking behaviours through the application of parenting skills and strategies.
To train and resource those working with young people, including teachers and youth workers, around the physical, emotional, physiological and spiritual development of young people and their relational and sexual well-being.
To engage with political representatives, government departments and statutory bodies in the development and implementation of holistic policy with regards to Relationships and Sexuality Education and Sexual Health Promotion.
To train and resource those within the medical profession as they address issues pertaining to underage sexual activity and wider sexual health issues.
To support the Church and wider faith community in actively addressing issues pertaining to relationships and sexuality.
To engage with media in relation to project activity and the promotion of our vision.
To undertake evaluation/research in the area of Relationships and Sexuality Education and Sexual Health Promotion.
To network and partner with individuals, agencies and churches, locally and internationally, in the pursuit of our vision.
The Board of Directors are committed to ensuring that staff and volunteers are adequately resourced and equipped to deliver the above objectives, in line with the mission of the organisation and staying true to its core values and beliefs.
