International Development
Love for Life works internationally to support the development and
delivery of personal development programmes that are consistent with
the Love for Life and Catalyst model.
Uganda
Over the last number of years, Love for Life team members have worked
within schools in Uganda, partnering more recently with
Fields of Life.
A Love for Life team successfully delivered programmes to over 7,000
Ugandan young people in 26 schools. Additionally, training programmes
were delivered to teachers and parents/community leaders in schools
and other locations. The visit also provided opportunity to support
the ongoing professional development of the Fields of Life/Love for
Life worker Ruth Mutumba.

Young people in Uganda
“The Love for Life team visit made such a difference to the young
people and teachers in the Fields of Life schools. We hope to be able
to continue to develop further work with Love for Life in the future.”
(Denise Kane, Fields of Life)

Paraguay
Love for Life, working in partnership with
SAMS, piloted the
‘Amor para toda la vida’ (Loving for Life) programme in schools during
August 2007. There was also the opportunity to network with other
organisations involved in relationships and sexuality education
programmes in Paraguay.
The programmes were very favourably received by young people,
teachers, parents and church leaders alike and Love for Life looks
forward to further partnership work in Paraguay.
