Love for Life has become a significant contributor to political debate
and Government and Departmental strategy and policy development around
Relationships and Sexuality Education (RSE) and risk taking behaviours
of young people.
As well as active membership on the DHSSPS Teenage Pregnancy and
Parenthood Strategy Implementation Group and the SHSSB Teenage
Pregnancy and Parenthood Consortium, Love for Life regularly responds
to Government consultations on a range of policy issues affecting
children and underage young, ensuring that policy direction is
prevention centred and contributes to achieving the Love for Life and
Catalyst
vision.

Love for Life is committed to partnering and networking with other
organisations within the statutory, voluntary and faith sector around
issues of common concern with regards to Relationships and Sexuality
Education in Northern Ireland.
“Your involvement in both the Sexual Health Promotion Strategy and
the Teenage Pregnancy and Parenthood Strategy has been extremely
helpful in shaping these strategies and in highlighting some of the
very sensitive areas that need to be addressed if we are to improve
the health and well-being of young people” (DHSSPS) With the
welcome restoration of the Northern Ireland Assembly, Love for Life is
currently presenting a revised case for strategic core funding to the
